DeGray Lake: rated as one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in America.
The race begins with a deep water start. The Entry and Finish area is located at the waters edge.
Historically the water temp in late Oct is in the High 60's to low 70's to. If water temp is below 78F wet suit will be allowed.
No aid stations are on the XTERRA DeGray Bike course.
Aid Station on the Bike for the Epic will be roughly 10- 15 miles.
Aid Stations on the run course are roughly 1.5 miles apart. I would suggest that all racers carry water / Nutrition with them during the run.
Run Course is a combination of Forest roads, meadows, creeks, pavement and what ever else I can figure out to throw at ya.....
