Time Gates for the Epic: Start time is 8:30am

  • Bike Course closes at 2:00pm  Those not completing the bike course by this time will not be allowed to continue.
  • Run Course:  This is a three lap course of 3.3 miles each lap.  All runner must be on to their 3rd lap by 3:15pm or they will not be allowed to continue

XTERRA DeGray Swim Course - 880 Yard -    1 Lap Swim
XTERRA DeGray Bike Course - 11 Miles. - 1 Lap Bike Course
XTERRA DeGray Run Course -  3.3 Miles - Combination of trail and paved road.

DeGray Lake: rated as one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in America.
The race begins with a deep water start. The Entry and Finish area is located at the waters edge.
Historically the water temp in late Oct is in the High 60's to low 70's to. If water temp is below 78F wet suit will be allowed.

No aid stations are on the XTERRA DeGray Bike course.  There will be a Feed Station for the Epic on the bike course at mile 15.

Aid Stations on the run course are roughly 1 miles apart.  I would suggest that all racers carry water / Nutrition with them during the run.

Run Course is a combination of Forest roads, meadows, creeks, single track, pavement and what ever else I can figure out to throw at ya.....
